Passage is more than just a work of fiction. It's more than just a suspense thriller or sci fi novel. Passage brings awareness to a disturbing problem facing women across the globe. Violence against women comprises a wide range of acts – from verbal harrasment and other forms of emotional abuse, to daily physical or sexual abuse. At the far end of the spectrum is femicide: the murder of a woman.

Official information for 15 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean shows that at least 3,287 women have been victims of femicide or femicide in 2018. Femicide in the United States accounts for the deaths of four women daily. It is the leading cause of death for African American women ages 15–24 and of on-the-job death for women. Since the 1970s, the rates of femicide in the United States has fluctuated between 3.8–4.5 deaths per less than 100,000 women.

Don't think that it can't happen to you or someone close to you. Get involved. Bring awareness to a growing problem.

Why People should read Passage. It's More Than Just A Work of Fiction.

Why Femicide Against Women is NOT just a woman problem--fathers need to educate their daughters.

In my novel, Passage, the protagonist, Anne Donovan, travels back in time through hypnosis and actually ends up interacting with the events of 1984 in her teenage body. She attempts to prevent the murder of her mother, but instead kills the wrong person, and therefore sets off a host of events that change the timeline in the past.

But the fact is, time travel through hypnosis is actually a medical and psychological practice today. Like my character Anne, if you have a problem in your life that you just can't seem to resolve or you are in a relationship that isn't what you'd like it to be or you're curious about who you might have been in a past life or wondering what your purpose is, hypnosis is actually a therapy that can help you resolve these issues.

Read Passage and find out more about hypnotherapy and how it is a practice and healing measure actually used in medicine today.
